You must be at least 18 years old to create an account on Soulmate and use the Service. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.

  1. Community Guidelines & User Conduct

Soulmate is a community built on trust and respect. We grant you access to our Service on the condition that you agree to abide by the following rules:

  • Be Authentic: You will not misrepresent your identity, age, or any other profile information. Our mandatory Selfie Verification process is in place to ensure the authenticity of our users.
  • Be Respectful: You will not post any content that is hateful, threatening, sexually explicit, or pornographic; incites violence; or contains nudity or graphic or gratuitous violence. We use automated systems like Azure Vision API and Google Perspective API to detect and remove such content.
  • Be Safe: You will not engage in any activity that is illegal, harmful, or fraudulent. You will not harass, bully, intimidate, assault, or defame any other user.

Violation of these guidelines may result in the immediate termination of your account without a refund.

  1. Safety Features (SOS & Date Plan)

Our Service includes optional safety features like the SOS button and the Date Plan Safety Check Timer.

  • Disclaimer: These features are intended as supplementary safety tools and are NOT a replacement for official emergency services (e.g., calling the police). We cannot guarantee their functionality, which depends on factors outside our control, such as your device’s GPS and network connectivity, and the operation of third-party services like Twilio.
  • User Responsibility: By using these features, you accept full responsibility for your safety. You grant us permission to send messages and your location data to the emergency contacts you have provided. It is your responsibility to ensure your emergency contact information is accurate and up-to-date.
  1. AI Features (Love AI & Coach AI)

Our Service offers AI-powered chat features for guidance and entertainment.

  • For Informational Purposes Only: The advice and information provided by our Love AI and Coach AI, powered by Google’s Gemini, are for informational and entertainment purposes only and do not constitute professional advice (e.g., medical, legal, or psychological). You should not rely on this information as a substitute for, nor does it replace, professional advice from a qualified provider.
  1. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases

Certain features of the Service are only available through a paid subscription (“Premium,” “Premium Plus”) or as a one-time purchase (“Add-Ons”).

  • Billing: We use RevenueCat to process all in-app purchases through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
  • Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless you cancel them at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period through your App Store or Play Store account settings.
  • Refunds: All purchases are final and non-refundable, except as required by applicable law.
  1. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach these Terms.
